LiveJournal takes a hit

This is older news, but I didn’t want to let it slip by completely.  Six Apart is responsible for the MovableType blog API that is pretty widely employed in open source blogging software.  Fitzpatrick is reportedly taking his open sourcing karma over to Google.  If true, he’ll no doubt run into Chris.

Word is that Brad Fitzpatrick, the founder of LiveJournal and chief architect of Six Apart, is leaving the troubled blog-software company.
