Songbird drops Linux support

While you have to agree that no one is going to lose money by dropping Linux desktop support, you have to wonder about all the embedded Linux systems in mobile devices:  Android and Chrome are both on the horizon.

Some analysts will be quick to call this the death knell of Linux outside the server, and when it comes to the traditional desktop — keyboard, big TV, mouse on the counter, box under the desk — they may well be right.
